COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN
M&M Turned Parts operate CADCAM software aiding us to manufacture complex components. Customers can send design files in many formats. Solid files can be imported into the CADCAM Program in 3D. The software then allows us to generate the CNC program directly from the 3D model. Modifications can be made to designs. This can be complemented by M&M Turned Parts due to our 125 years of combined machining knowledge.
CADCAM was first introduced in the 1990’s due to the major introduction of computers to industry. Manufacturing companies have benefited because of the time saving in manually drawing components. A reduction in part rejects rates has been a major bonus.
Our continued investment has allowed us to further our portfolio of services offered. This latest investment has opened up another window to offer components of the most complex nature. We have been involved in projects in CNC turning and milling in the following sectors:
This computer software allows us to improve service, offering shorter lead times to customers. This is due to time saved writing programs. Modifications to designs can be made quickly because of ease of use. Our company see this as an aid in being being able to offer customers a faster service.
