New Machine is a Miyano BNX 65

M&M Turned Parts have invested in a new machine for 2026 upgrading old capacity with the latest CNC technology. The new addition is a Miyano BNX 65 offering a compact footprint with Eco-Balance and LFV technology. This acquisition keeps us in-line with our goals of becoming more energy efficient with the cost of power continuously rising. 65mm diameter components are possible from a range of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. We plan to aim the machine at batch sizes of 200-off upwards alongside our existing capacity. Our team have undergone training and the machine is now producing parts for customer orders.

New Machine Capabilities.....

This new addition gives M&M great flexibility as we can easily transition from basic to complex parts with minimal change over times. The single turret, twin spindle layout allows overlapping of machining operations due to super impostion. A 12 station tool carrier allows for back to back tools amounting to 24 tools with ease. This feature allows for standardisation of tooling assisting with speeding up set-up times. We had found that change-over times were an issue with the older machine it has replaced.

Future Plans

M&M hope to be able to improve lead-times to our customer base through the aquisition of latest technology machinery. Setup times are a key area which we are looking to improve going forward. Also investing in new technology gives us more confidence to increase out of hours running. As a forward thinking company we are always looking at ways to improve the business and make us more cost-effective.
